Good mexican food and not afraid to add some heat! Friendly family that owns and operates. I am looking forward to trying them out again!

i moved this area from walla walla, washington. there are 2 taco trucks there i miss dearly and hold on an extremely high pedestal and compare all other taco places to. Ricardo's is the closest I have found to my beloved stands. the beef (steak) burrito is my absolute favorite from here. they are HUGE! super delicious and the green hot sauce is excellent. did not enjoy the chicken as much and i think i would have liked their breakfast burrito better without the potatoes, but still easily the best tacos and burritos in the area. Ricardo is a great guy. Service is always superb and the food is reasonably priced.

Ricardo & Brian are the brains behind this tiny eatery and they know what a Baja taco is supposed to taste like. Don't come to this restaurant expecting fine dining experience or a vast selection of drinks or cloth napkins. This is a taco truck minus the wheels. Chips & salsa need to be removed from the menu-don't bother as I pride myself as a true chip aficionado and these are simply store bought and disappointing for most. Go to La Cocina for freshly made chips and salsa. This joint is strictly a handheld food eatery which is perfect for the working man or woman wanting fresh, hot food that has been made with love and personal attention. The burritos must weight 2 pounds and they don't skimp on the tasty meats. Tacos are street taco style, you won't get mounds of rice and bean filler when ordering a taco aka carte. They have combo plates for those insisting on having rice, beans and tacos. The freshly grilled tilapia is light, flavorful and not greasy like some other deep fried nonsense. Try the hot sauces which are scratch made and you've got a couple choices: green or red. One is hotter than hades and delicious :) Drinks are the hecho en Mexico style soda pop which reminds me of my childhood. Great service, fast delicious tacos & burritos. Cash & debit cards accepted.

Delicious tacos and enchiladas. Not much atmosphere and the girl behind the counter was cold and unfriendly. Really good price but very little atmosphere. Would come back and get the food to go!

Had another amazing breakfast burrito here this week. Smothered it with their home made green and red salsa...was delicious!

Stopped in on our way through town. Really great street style tacos. People were very friendly, the food was flavorful and the salsa was really good. If I had one criticism it would be the chips. I understand not wanting to make fresh, but they should use a better brand of store bought. Maybe Juanitas. That's the only reason I held a star back

Our visit consisted of a very unfriendly, overpriced home of the 2 bite tacos....we won't be returning too much cilantro and someone please teach that gal working there some customer service skills cause she has NONE!

This tiny little taco stand packs a ton of flavor. They make the only authentic style Baja tacos in the area. A few have tried but only these guys have accomplished it. Great food, great prices and good people. Keep up the good work!

Walked in & walked right back out. Guy working was incredibly rude to me, rude when my son asked a question & looked bored. In a small town you need to have excellent business ethic.

Chips are store bought, salsa has no flavor. Tacos are ok, but nothing to brag about.

Very good breakfast burritos. My wife and I went by for a quick breakfast and picked up a couple burritos. Her first impression was 'Wow, those are huge!' They were nice and big, loaded with flavor. The salsa that came with them, both red and green was very good too. We were both satisfied (she couldn't finish hers, I could barley finish mine) and happy. I look forward to trying the other offerings from Ricardo's, and getting more breakfast burritos. I recommend!

The food is very good and you get plenty of it (burrito is really two meals for all but the heartiest of appetites.) I've arrived early morning before (8:45 a.m. on a Saturday) to try the supposedly excellent breakfast burritos and found the place locked up. Door sign and online hours say 8 o'clock opening so not sure what to think there. All in all one of the better mexican lunch spots and def the best in little post falls!

Little restaurant, super clean. Had a light lunch of grilled tilapia Baja Taco that was good. One enchilada of shredded pork and another of shredded chicken. Abundant amount of flavorful moist pork, some of the best I've had. Chicken was flavorful, large quantity, but a little dry. Not bad tho! Will stop back by when we are in town again.

Some of the best tacos in the area, tied with El Paisa. Very authentic, meat is perfect. Only 1 person working, and still fast because they KEEP IT SIMPLE! Great prices and specials. Exceptional customer service and positive attitude. A place to go back again and again.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
